Full Biography

Roberto A. Romero is the Quality Control Manager at CSI Corporation of DC, bringing a career that few security professionals in the DMV region — or anywhere in the country — can equal. With more than 23 years of federal service at the U.S. Treasury and U.S. Secret Service, 7 years of distinguished U.S. military service, and over 14 years of private sector security leadership, Mr. Romero represents the kind of proven, mission-hardened expertise that sets CSI apart from the competition.

Mr. Romero began his service to the nation in uniform. He served in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, where his roles spanned antitank assault operations, field artillery survey, intelligence reconnaissance at the G-2 level, and duties as a Nuclear Biological Chemical Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge. That foundational military discipline has informed every role he has held in the decades since.

Following his military service, Mr. Romero joined the U.S. Treasury Police Force, providing protection to the President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Treasury while maintaining security and access control of the Treasury Building and Annex. He was subsequently appointed to the United States Secret Service, where he served for more than 23 years across two elite divisions. As a Special Officer in the Special Services Division, he provided direct protection to the President, Vice President, foreign Heads of State, and other designated protectees. He later served as an Access Control Officer within the Presidential Protective Division, supervising a detail of Secret Service Officers conducting criminal, intelligence, and immigration status screening for all individuals seeking access to the White House Complex — one of the most sensitive and high-stakes security environments in the world.

Transitioning into private sector leadership, Mr. Romero brought that federal standard of excellence with him. As a Lead Manager at CSI Corporation of DC, he managed security operations at the Democratic National Committee Building, overseeing scheduling, training, disciplinary processes, and the full accountability of security staff. He later served as Quality Control Manager, conducting compliance inspections across 62 CSI contract sites in DC and Maryland — ensuring every armed and unarmed officer, every post document, and every security directive met the precise standards required by government and commercial clients alike. His scope included direct oversight of 10 site supervisors and more than 300 security officers, as well as managing Department of Defense badge processing, weapons accountability, and monthly DOD staff meetings.

Today, Mr. Romero applies that same relentless standard to his role at CSI — ensuring that every post is manned, every officer is credentialed, every weapon is properly accounted for, and every client receives the level of protection they were promised. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, a capability that extends CSI's ability to communicate effectively across the diverse communities and client environments of the DMV region.
